At 05:14 on Wednesday, 6 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

On arrival of crews they found 1 estate vehicle fully involved in fire, crews used 1 hosereel jet and small tools to extinguish the vehicle.
