At 10:52 on Thursday, 7 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm with good intent, this was a small bonfire with person in attendance.
