At 17:39 on Tuesday, 12 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Birdgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

This incident involved corn on fire within a combine harvester. Crews used small tools and hosereel jets to damp down.
