At 11:23 on Thursday, 21 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Ludlow.

Reports of an out of control bonfire. On arrival of crews this was found to be a controlled burn, no action required by crews due to occupier having sufficient firefighting media on hand.
