At 14:18 on Thursday, 21 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Grass Fire in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

Field measuring 100m x 50m involved in fire. Breaker beaters and hose reel jet used to extinguish.
