At 21:45 on Saturday, 23 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Urgent in Ludlow.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

One person rescued from ditch and left in care of Ambulance Service. Crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire Service gave assistance also.
