At 10:59 on Sunday, 31 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm with good intent, controlled burn in rear garden.
