At 20:11 on Thursday, 4 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow.

This incident was a false alarm due to fumes from cooking activating the smoke detector.
