At 06:48 on Friday, 5 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Report of smoke issuing from the building. This incident was a false alarm with good intent caused by accidental activation of a smoke cloak. Natural ventilation has taken place.
