At 13:34 on Sunday, 19 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in A5 just prior to Emstrey Island, Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington.

RTC involving 2 vehicles, 1 person trapped. Crew stabilised vehicle allowing casualty to leave the car. Casualty taken to hospital by relative.
