At 09:18 on Wednesday, 17 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to a power cut in the area.
