At 09:21 on Friday, 26 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Small fire in lighting within stairwell of building. Electrics have been isolated and estates department in attendance for repair works.
