At 22:05 on Monday, 29 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Kidderminster.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving gorse and braken measuring approximately 20 meters squared which was extinguished using two hose reel jets. Thermal imaging camera used to check for any remaining hot spots.
