At 07:49 on Wednesday, 1 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Ellesmere.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

One tractor smoking. Thorough inspection carried out using thermal imaging camera and small gear.
