At 00:17 on Saturday, 4 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving approximately 4 metres of fencing. Crews extinguished using 1 hosereel jet and thermal imaging camera, and gave advice.
