At 11:01 on Saturday, 4 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks

Deep seated fire involving undergrowth measuring approximately 10m x 6m. Crews have extinguished the fire using fogging units from the Incident Support Unit as well as knapsacks and small gear.
