At 22:02 on Monday, 6 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Kidderminster.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Crews have extinguished a gorse fire measuring approximately 40 meters squared using 2 hose reel jets and beaters.
