At 15:08 on Sunday, 12 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Electric Saws/Cutters
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving conifer hedgerow which crews extinguished using two hose reel jets and a remscat saw to cut away affected hedgerow.
