At 15:23 on Sunday, 12 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Small gear

Incident involving smouldering fire within dead tree. Crews have cut tree down using small gear and extinguished the fire using buckets of water.
