At 14:14 on Friday, 24 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

This incident was a false alarm caused by unknown system fault.
