At 19:48 on Friday, 24 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Coalport.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Telford and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Fire crews rescued 11 year old dog from culvert using chimney rods and encouragement from owner. Dog left in the care of owner.
