At 19:39 on Sunday, 2 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Urgent in Cleobury Mortimer .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Telford.

Reports of strong smell of fumes, crews ventilated the property and checked with the gas monitor to make sure there was a safe reading.
