At 22:45 on Saturday, 8 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.
1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
Incident involving car in collision with a tree which then caught fire. The majority of the car was damaged by fire which crews extinguished using two hose reel jets whilst wearing breathing apparatus. The road is blocked in both directions.
