At 14:33 on Monday, 8 December, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire within domestic property caused by lithium ion battery. Fire was out on arrival of crews. Full inspection carried out.
