At 22:39 on Friday, 2 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton, Shrewsbury and Telford Central. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

This incident involved fire of fence, wood store and garage.
