At 13:03 on Thursday, 15 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm with good intent.
