At 20:05 on Friday, 23 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Dry powder extinguisher
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved an electrical fire in the dashboard of a tractor unit. Crews used a dry powder extinguisher and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the fire.
