At 15:57 on Sunday, 25 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

After reports of a smell of smoke crews investigated adjoining properties using thermal imaging camera, triple extension ladder, and small tools. No smoke seen or found after thorough investigation.
