At 19:54 on Saturday, 7 February, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Bishops Castle.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

One car which has left the carriageway into hedges. Crews made the vehicle electrically safe using small gear. Casualties had self extricated prior to the arrival of the fire service. Casualties are in the care of paramedics.
