At 12:18 on Sunday, 8 February, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Wolverhampton .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a large vehicle issuing smoke, which was out on arrival of fire service personnel. A full inspection was carried out using a thermal imaging camera.
