At 15:34 on Wednesday, 11 February, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Crews attended a single‑vehicle incident involving smoke issuing from a car due to a turbocharger failure. Firefighters used one hose‑reel jet and an environmental protection pack to make the scene safe
