At 16:26 on Tuesday, 9 June, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Approximately 15 tonnes of straw in the open well alight. Two hose reel jets and 2 drag rakes used to extinguish.
