At 05:15 on Sunday, 2 November, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in St. Georges.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington.

False Alarm due to apparatus. Smoke detector operated in ground floor kitchen caused by burnt toast. Alarm reset prior to Fire Service Arrival.
