At 17:47 on Tuesday, 25 November, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Roof Fire in Longville in the Dale.

4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Church Stretton, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury.

Fire involving log burner, smoke issuing from roof, Hot spot found in roof timbers cutting away and removing tiles. Aerial Ladder Platform in use
