At 17:04 on Saturday, 30 December, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bedroom Fire in Whitchurch.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees, Wem and Whitchurch. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving first floor bedroom. No casualties involved. Fire Investigation carried out.
