At 07:46 on Friday, 26 December, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Call received as An Automatic Fire Alarm caused by a small fire in fluorescent light fitting in ground floor kitchen. Fire was out on arrival, crews inspecting only.
