At 20:43 on Saturday, 27 December, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Chirbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving chimney flue in bedroom of 2 storey detached property approximately 10m x 15m. Bedroom 100% damaged by fire, remainder of property 90% damaged by heat and smoke. Two breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet in use.
