At 17:29 on Thursday, 8 January, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Longdon Common.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Line rescue

Chimney fire involving an open fire in a domestic residential property. Line safety also in use.
