At 20:30 on Tuesday, 20 January, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Porth-Y-Waen.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Chimney fire involving log burning stove, thorough inspection carried out and advice given to occupier to get chimney swept.
