At 10:58 on Wednesday, 21 January, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Salop Road, Oswestry .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Report of smoke in area but caller unable to ascertain what is on fire. Incident was found to be a controlled burn in a back garden and no action was required by fire service personnel.
