At 11:06 on Sunday, 25 January, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Church Stretton and Shrewsbury.

One large tree alight at its base. The Pinzgaur, a six wheeled specialist off road fire fighting vehicle from Church Stretton is in use.
