At 07:56 on Sunday, 8 March, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Animal Rescue in Prees.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 horse released from footing of house using animal rescue gear and straw bales.
