At 17:21 on Wednesday, 18 March, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Elkington Close, Newport .

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This inc was a fire in a kitchen involving a electrical cooker crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus
