At 00:17 on Saturday, 4 April, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wem.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Fire in ground floor flat involving a tumble dryer.
