At 18:26 on Monday, 6 April, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Environment agency equipment

Small fire in engine compartment of a VW Camper Van, fire extinguished prior to arrival of Fire Service by owner using dry powder extinguisher. Crews used an environment pack to contain a small spill of petrol.
