At 19:24 on Thursday, 11 June, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Cross Houses.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire involving cooker in kitchen of ground floor flat. 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 1 covering jet in use. Positive pressure ventilation equipment also in use.
