At 13:03 on Sunday, 21 June, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as RTC HGV Persons Trapped in A5 Preston Island to Emstrey Island .

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington.

RTC involving car and HGV. No persons trapped, vehicles made safe by fire service personnel.
