At 00:27 on Saturday, 18 July, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rtc Persons Trapped in Shotatton Crossroads, Ruyton X1 Towns.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Oswestry and Wellington.

1 saloon car left roadway. No persons trapped. 1 casualty being treated by ambulance personnel. Vehicle made safe by fire service personnel.
