At 12:41 on Sunday, 2 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Sheriffhales.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford.

Crews called to a car fire but this was a false alarm caused by oil on hot engine components creating large amounts of smoke.
