At 15:38 on Tuesday, 4 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Knighton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving approximately 8 metres of hedgerow, 2 hose reel jets used.
